Timothy Lynn Forth
Dec. 30, 1955 – June 15, 2025

Timothy Lynn Forth passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 15, 2025, at Piney Campground, Dover, Tennessee while camping with his wife.
Tim Forth was born January 30, 1955, in Mayfield, KY to Harold and Barbara Forth. He was the youngest of four siblings. He grew up running around and getting in trouble with his oldest brother, David, and several cousins. When times got hard though his sisters, Nancy and Betty, were always there for him. Many of his younger years he spent helping his parents operate the 4 Way Freeze in Hardin, KY before he finally started to pursue his love of cars at 15 years old. He briefly worked on the Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline with his brother David before returning back to Murray to continue working in cars. He opened his first clean up shop when he was 24 years old and shortly after obtained his car dealers license. He was a car dealer in Murray, KY for 46 years and a manufactured home dealer for 18 years.
Anyone that knew him knew he never met a stranger, and if you were one, you wouldn’t be for long. He loved meeting people and genuinely getting to know them. He didn’t make acquaintances, he made lifelong friends. His down to earth nature, his ability to relate, to listen, his great sense of humor, and outlook on life was infectious.
His personality and the love of the outdoors is what drew his devoted and loving wife, Cindy (Black) Forth, to him in the summer of 1973 at the Dairy Queen. He pulled up in his white Pontiac Grand AM and asked her if she wanted to go for a ride. Over 50 years together, 47 years of marriage, and 2 children later, she didn’t know that car ride would lead to the ride of her life. They laughed together, played together, and were inseparable in marriage and business till his last day.
After playing for 11 years they decided to start a family in their 30’s. He was thrilled to finally become a dad. When asked not to tell anyone yet that they were expecting, of course he went out and told everybody. He loved his children, Clint Forth and Brittney (Forth) Bunch, with his whole heart. In 2018 he added another to his family, son in law Joe Bunch, in which he bragged on faithfully. Tim had a way of teaching that you could understand and a work ethic that you had to keep up with him in order to model. He rarely complained and after working long days he would still come home with enthusiasm to talk to you, help you, or ask to go do something fun.
He was always up to do something. He could never sit down, although he told himself he needed to rest all the time. In retirement, he was able to take many family trips to Colorado, Alaska, and began to travel to Lake Okeechobee, Florida in the winter to go fishing with his wife. Whether it be fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, or just hanging out with friends on the back porch swapping stories, he loved it all. His advice on life was to live it fully and as long as possible. Forgive and forget. And to make the memories while you can because you never knew when it would be your last day to. He will be missed beyond measure by his family and friends. We will love him forever and AS BIG AS THE SKY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Edward Forth and Barbara Nell (Cope) Forth; one sister, Betty Garland; one brother, David Forth; as well as one brother-in-law, Johnny Ingram.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy (Black) Forth of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Brittney Lynn (Forth) Bunch and husband Joe of Wingo, Kentucky; one son, Clint Edward Forth of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Nancy Ingram of Kirksey, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Joyce Ann Gee
Feb. 27, 1955 – June 12, 2025

Mrs. Joyce Ann (Winchester) Gee, age 70, of Louisville, Kentucky (formerly of Murray, Kentucky) passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife whose unwavering love for her family was the foundation of her life. Strong-willed and tenacious, she broke barriers throughout a career devoted to public service. She began her career working in the Water and Sewer division of Murray Municipal Utilities before becoming the General Manager for the Hardin County Water District in Radcliff, Kentucky. From there she progressed as the General Manager of the Georgetown Water and Sewer District in Georgetown, Kentucky, forging a path in a traditionally male field with confidence, wit, and determination. She finished her professional career as an analyst for Summit Energy Group in Louisville, Kentucky, completing more than three decades serving the public in various roles. She lived and worked with a strong moral compass and sense of ethics, as well as a gentle ferocity that helped her shatter the glass ceiling of an industry once almost exclusively dominated by males. In so doing, creating change and blazing new trails for females that followed in her footsteps helped pave the way for them to find their own avenues to success.
Known for her quick sense of humor and wise counsel, Joyce was a trusted source of support to many. An active member of Southeast Christian Church, she served faithfully on the worship production team and as a proofreader for church publications. She found profound happiness in time spent with her grandchildren—her greatest joys—as well as in gardening alongside her husband Richard and in staying closely connected with her siblings, children, and extended family. Her strength, guidance, and love will be deeply missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew her. Though Joyce is no longer with us physically, the bright light and abundance of love she created in this world will carry on through her family, friends and everyone else that she knew and touched. She was a beacon of thoughtfulness and selflessness in difficult times that will never be forgotten and whose impact on so many can never be understated.
Mrs. Gee was born on February 27, 1955, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late E.D. and Maude (Parker) Winchester and was the youngest of seven siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister (Betty Cooper) and three brothers (Hal Winchester, Will T. Winchester, and Bill Winchester).
Joyce leaves behind a legacy of love through her survivors, including her husband of almost 37 years, Richard Gee (also of Louisville, Kentucky). Richard and Joyce were married on June 28, 1988, in Murray, Kentucky and have four children and five grandchildren. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Brooke Gee-Lowry of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Sarah Parker (along with her husband Woody) of Louisville, Kentucky and by two sons, Josh Gibson (along with his wife Courtney) of Toledo, Ohio, and Aaron Gee of Nashville, Tennessee. Other surviving family members include one sister, Sue McKinney of Murray, Kentucky, and one brother, Joe Pat Winchester (and his wife Hilda) of Murray, Kentucky. Finally, she is survived by the light of her life, her five grandchildren: Haley, Noah, Avery, and Sawyer Gibson (all of Toledo, Ohio) and Vinn Lowry (of Mayfield, Kentucky). Joyce also maintained close relationships with multiple cousins along with several nieces and nephews, who survive as well.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Murray, Kentucky. A memorial service will be held immediately afterward at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. John Dale will officiate and an intimate burial service for family will follow the memorial service in the Hicks Cemetery near the Cherry Corner community.
In lieu of sending flowers, the Gee Family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Childplace Family Services, 2420 East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130, by phone, 812-282-8248, or by website link, https://childplace.org/support-us/donate
