MURRAY – A brand-new arcade game — never before found in Kentucky — will debut in Murray this month.
The arcade game in question is Switch ‘N’ Shoot, and it’s anything but old-school. It’s heading to Know-a-Guy in Murray this Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m CST.
Know-a-Guy (located off five-points) will host a launch event for Switch ‘N’ Shoot that day. The first 25 paying players will each receive a one-inch pin, and the first player to earn 300 in-game points will win a trucker hat.

Switch ‘N’ Shoot is an “indie” arcade game, meaning it wasn’t developed by a big studio. This unique arcade experience is coming to western Kentucky for the first time ever, courtesy of a local company called Wilcox Arcade.
Wilcox Arcade refers to a “route” of arcade games here in the commonwealth. Much like how soda machines are operated, owner Dustin Wilcox places his arcade games in other people’s businesses for players to enjoy while out and about.
That’s why there’s not just one place that you can call “Wilcox Arcade” – but rather a network. Switch ‘N’ Shoot will be available at one point within that network, though there are other venues where you can find games from Wilcox Arcade.
(Wilcox Arcade is committed to bringing modern, independently-developed arcade titles to western Kentucky. In other words, it’s not meant to be retro.)
In addition to Know-a-Guy, Wilcox Arcade also manages arcade games at Trends N Treasures in Murray and Basement Bar Collectibles in Benton. The company will supply tattoo and sticker machines at Venture River Water Park this summer, with more locations on the way.
Switch ‘N’ Shoot, however, will be ready to play Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m. CST. Wilcox Arcade invites you to try it for yourself at Know-a-Guy in Murray.
Thank you for sharing this press release. Today will be a fun day for me.
