Welcome to the new home of The Murray Sentinel — whether you’ve been with us since our first scrappy website or are just finding us. We’re an independent, nonprofit news outlet bringing free local news to Murray and Calloway County, from government, courts and schools to public safety, community issues and the people who make this place home.

This isn’t another template or temporary stop. Our new custom-built website is designed to be The Sentinel’s permanent digital home, with room for new features like classifieds and the infrastructure to support locally staffed newsrooms across the Jackson Purchase. We built it for the newsroom we are today — and the one we’re working to become.
