Mr. Ronald Neil Crouse, 85, of Dexter, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at his home.
A hardworking man throughout his life, Ronald farmed while also working for many years at General Tire & Rubber in Mayfield, KY. He was known for his toughness in the face of hard times and the determination to keep going no matter the circumstances. Ronald was a kind and generous father, brother, and uncle who was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren, and his warm and loving heart touched the lives of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Ronald was a member of North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Murray, KY.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Ronald include his sons, Donnie Ray Crouse, wife Patty, of Fruitland Park, FL, and Randy Neil Crouse of Dexter, KY; daughter, Melissa Fay Shipman, husband Paul, of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Brandon Underhill, wife Stella, Micah Crouse, and Tia Johnson, husband Andrew; great-granddaughter, Luna Underhill; step-granddaughters, Aria and Nora Roach; brother, Elvin Hugh Crouse, wife Kay, of Farmington, KY; sisters, Brenda Miller, husband James, of Murray, KY, Linda Kay Jackson, husband Ron, of Paducah, KY, and Maurita Smith of Murray, KY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Z.B. Crouse and Reba Pearl (Darnall) Crouse.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, KY, with Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 6:00 p.m. at Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071.
