Mr. Kenneth M. Cox, 72, of Murray, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Ken was born on June 23, 1954 in Versailles, KY to the late William and Frieda (Jones) Cox. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, finding pleasure in the outdoors. He also had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed spending time on the golf course.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife, Sandy.
Those left to cherish his memory include his three sons, William Cox (Heather) of Murray, Matthew Cox (Kriste) of Marshall County, Adam Cox of New Concord; one brother, Tim “T.R” Cox (Linda) of Hardin and several grandchildren.
A public graveside service with military honors is set for 11 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Salem Cemetery in Lynn Grove. Pallbearers include Andy Murrell, Tim Bradshaw, Felix Cox, Adonis Cox and Quentin Cox.
