KY 94 in Calloway County has reopened to traffic at mile point 6.44 following completion of a bridge rehab project over Haynes Creek.
This is between KY 783 and Hudson Road/Oaks Country Club Road, west of Murray.
KY 94 closed in late May to allow a contractor to replace the bridge’s superstructure.
Guardrail installation was completed on Wednesday, July 8, allowing the roadway to reopen to traffic approximately three weeks ahead of schedule. The project was originally expected to be completed by the end of July.
This project was listed in the KYTC District 1 Roadshow Report and represents an investment of $150,000.
Approximately 3,978 vehicles travel this section of KY 94 in an average day.
