Mr. Aubrey Moore, Jr., 95 of Murray, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the home of his son.

Born May 31, 1931, in Webster County, KY, Aubrey was the son of the late Aubrey Moore, Sr., and Hallie Mae (Blaine) Moore. He was a graduate of Providence High School and attended Western Kentucky University. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a retired painting contractor, known for his skill and dedication to his work.

Those left to cherish memories of Aubrey include his children; Debi Black, husband Mike, Morgan Moore, wife Becky, Owen Moore, wife Lexie, Darren Moore, and Colin Moore, wife Lynn, all of Murray, KY; stepdaughter, Sandy Thomas Fulton of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Adam Moore (Trevor), LeeAnn Thacker (Barry), David Moore (Meryl), Cherie Denise Fitch (Mark), Justin Moore (Brooke), Ashley Dunn (Josh), Kala Warren, Bethany Moore, Patience Moore, Carson Moore, Melanie Coleman, Diana Bess, Mallory Moore, and Hannah Moore; great grandchildren, Marley Moore, Montana Coleman, Deniah Tukasingure, Zachery Bess, Braxton Warren, Rylin Warren, Kansas Warren, Khaleesi Moore, Samantha Christopher, Tamara Burch, Jamie Pemwell, Sailor Moore, Jace Siress, Kimberly Bess, Mason Moore, Colton Moore, Quinlyn Moore, Liberty Fitch, Skyler Fitch and Beckett Schroader; and precious great-great grandchildren, Ethan Turner, Fenris Williams, Syris Williams and Elora Moore.

In addition to his parents, Aubrey was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Rhoda Mae (Richmond) Moore; his second wife, Sylvia D. “Toopie” (Rowland) Thomas Moore; a grandson, Eric Moore; stepsons, Barry Thomas, Tony Thomas and Mark Thomas; and sister, Elenor Cowan.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, KY with John Dale officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Murray City Cemetery, Murray, KY with Adam Moore, David Moore, Justin Moore, Braxton Warren, Ethan Turner, Marley Moore and Carson Moore serving as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 14, 2026, between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Aubrey’s name to the Murray Calloway County Animal Shelter, 81 Shelter Lane, Murray, KY 42071.
