Press release: KYTC announces daytime closures on KY 464 in Calloway County

PADUCAH – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 464/Almo-Shiloh Road in Calloway County during daylight hours starting Monday, March 31, 2025.

These daytime closures along KY 464/Almo-Shiloh Road at mile point 13.2, east of the Almo Community, are to allow use of a long-reach excavator to remove accumulated debris at the Clarks River Bridge.  This is along KY 464 between First Street and Elm Grove Road.

The roadway at this site will close at approximately 8:30 a.m., each day, immediately after the morning school bus run.  KY 464 is expected to reopen to traffic around 2:30 p.m., each day.

Due to the placement of equipment required to facilitate the work, the roadway will be closed to all traffic during working hours.

There will be no marked detour.

KYTC District 1 and the Calloway Highway Maintenance Crew will attempt to provide timely updates should the work be completed earlier than expected.
